Exxon gasoline additive meets the top tier standards for gasoline detergents. This special additive has been developed on a molecular level to help keep an engine’s intake valves and vital engine parts clean. By providing the highest quality detergent, Exxon gasoline is committed to decreasing the amount of harmful carbon emissions and deposits into the environment. A cleaner engine will produce less harmful emissions into the atmosphere, thereby lessening our general carbon footprint. Exxon branded gasoline is available in three octane grades. The 87 octane grade is considered the most popular and meets most vehicle requirements for fuel. Our available Marathon branded gasoline is formulated to produce the highest quality product with more than double the EPA requirements for gasoline detergents. Marathon branded gasoline is available in three octane grades and is formulated with STP additives. Our available Marathon branded gasoline contains more than double the detergent additives required by the EPA. These additives help to prevent deposit buildup, maintain vehicle performance, maintain fuel economy, and control vehicle emission. Built-up engine deposits can adversely affect an engine’s performance and overall drivability. The STP additives are designed to prevent deposit accumulation on the intake valves, which can help increase the engine’s performance. By using Marathon branded gasoline with STP additives, you are helping your engine perform at its highest potential. As engine deposits build, they can cause fuel to burn incompletely and less efficiently, casuing harmful exhaust emissions. These emissions adversely affect your vehicle’s overall fuel economy.
